SINÓPSIS

Mom and Dad eagerly await the arrival of their baby. But M, who receives this name as an onomatopoeia for lack of a better fit, is a rough-skinned baby who doesn't want to be petted. He's not pink either, but rather brownish and furry. He also screams and groans constantly, refuses to drink milk, take baths, or sleep with the stupid lullabies placed near his crib. To his parents' surprise, M is a wild and untamed creature with a very particular vision of the world around him. In this situation, the parents wonder if they made the right decision... 

El texto indaga sobre la infancia como núcleo salvaje de nuestras vidas. Nos invita a reflexionar sobre los deseos y las necesidades que proyectamos sobre los demás, y sobre cómo esa proyección condiciona los vínculos que construimos. Cuestiona la maternidad y la paternidad como mística absoluta de nuestro tiempo, y los diversos efectos colaterales, tanto personales como sociales, que genera (frustraciones, culpa, miedos…). Rastrea la relación entre infancia y mundo adulto: las sinergias que se crean (orden vs. desorden; norma vs. anarquía;…). Y nos invita a considerar la complejidad que todo aquello que no se deja clasificar o definir con facilidad (‘lo diferente’) plantea a nivel social.
