Cristina Cubells (Barcelona, 1991) has a degree in Psychology (UB), in Music Pedagogy, and a Master's degree in Music Pedagogy. (ESMUC) and Master in Theory and Criticism of Culture (Carlos III). Since 2017, he has directed the Seminar Towards New Horizons of Listening from the Faculty of Humanities and recently Debates sonoros, a summer programme on music, culture and politics. Interested in the intersection of critical pedagogies of music and stage creation for young people, it has carried out the project ExtremActual together with the Ensemble Sonido Extremo, X_ENSEMS at the Music Festival Contemporánea ENSEMS, the stage direction of Historia de un Soldado at the Teatros del Canal and Struwwelpeter: cruel tales in your ear, a project of new creation, video art and electronics. She is currently a PhD student in Contemporary Theatre Studies and Critical Pedagogies, with a La Caixa INphNIT grant at the University Carlos III and the University of Glasgow.
