Itziar Pascual

Itziar Pascual is a playwright, researcher, teacher and journalist. She has won the Premio Nacional de Artes Escénicas para la Infancia y la Juventud 2019; the Premio ASSITEJ España with Mascando ortigas; the Certamen de Textos Infantiles de la Escuela Navarra de Teatro, with Aroma de vainilla; the Premio SGAE de Teatro Infantil with La vida de los salmones and the Premio Morales-Martínez de Teatro Infantil, with Ainhara (Poema dramático). She is the author of the essay Suzanne Lebeau. Las huellas de la esperanza.

ASSITEJ ESPAÑA is a cultural entity whose aim is to promote the development of performing arts for children and youth in Spain. It is a founding and full member of the international organization ASSITEJ (Association International du Théatre pour l'Enfance et la Jeunesse), founded in Paris in 1965. A network present in more than 90 countries that works to ensure the right of access to art for children.
