From these characters, a plot is woven around war, which, always seasoned with humor and a certain surrealism, emphasizes the tremendous doses of absurdity that always lie behind any armed confrontation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas Af\u00e1n Munoz<\/strong>I am an Andalusian from Ja\u00e9n, with fifteen years of professional theatre experience under my belt. As a playwright, I alternate plays for children and young people with plays for adults. I have premiered over twenty texts, many of them by Teatro La Paca (a company I co-direct with Mari Carmen G\u00e1mez). The latest of these is\u00a0<em>Stories of Earthlings<\/em>, a Basque-Andalusian co-production directed by Carlos Zabala and Fernando Bernu\u00e9s. I have won several awards for playwriting: the Santa Cruz de la Palma Prize, four editions of the Rafael Guerrero Prize, two editions of the Serantes de Santurtzi Prize, the Bail\u00e9n Prize, and the Martin Recuerda Prize.
